Stairways To Heaven Viet

Nick Hornby. Juliet, naked

I'm reading with a smile and occasional bursts of laughter Juliet, naked the latest novel by Nick Hornby . I became acquainted with this author as a result to see High Fidelity the movie based on his novel of the same title. Even today is a film that revisits at least once a year. The universe proposed Hornby very familiar to me and I identify with many of the situations that has a casual style, agile and cheerful not without its fair share of irony. Moreover, the type known to laugh at themselves and appreciate quality that oxygenates in this world where many people take it too seriously themselves.

In Juliet, naked Hornby discusses the relationships of men and women, passion for music, the dreaded midlife crisis and he does a credible, real, documenting contemporary life, with particular emphasis on cyberspace and in multiple cultures. It is especially the case of Internet humorous because one of the protagonists of the novel, Duncan is an obsessive student of the work of a singer who left the music after a disk that did not eat much commercially but created an aura of its author in circulating cyberspace where many legends and interpretations of his life and work. And I read this part Descojonado of myself and the clip gone we have a lot of us love music and typing a few things in this thing called the Internet. Of those mental straw embodied on the blog or forum on duty.

Hornby, confessed music lover, supporter of Marah with whom he has collaborated and wise observer of what moves the rock'n roll is particularly inspired by this novel. Write about what you are good at, what he knows. As Ed said Chigliak character in Northern Exposure must move from land used to be known as Woody Allen almost always as you normally would Hornby. Once passed this microcosm takes talent and alluring. And this guy has plenty both. Juliet naked is High Fidelity what Hannah and Her Sisters to Manhattan. What I'm certain we will clamp. In order that I recommend to who may read this that are strung Juliet, Naked and not waste time here.

face it, our generation (let's leave it at thirty-something) have grown up with the unchanged and unchanging tradition of seeing movies Romans at this time of year. When there were only two strings, then when joined private and will not change even today those chains and even some of payment is given to the cause Peplum, that term as so many French critics coined in the sixties. The name apparently comes from the garment called peplum that was a kind of sleeveless tunic buttoned to the shoulder.

A key feature of this genre is that the films always had a tremendous cast that matched the few front-line players and a host of top-flight side also. They would be supervised by a type solvent, Often called one of those craftsmen, in a rather scornful, people who knew the craft up and down, guys like Mervyn LeRoy directed when Quo Vadis in 1961 but had his ass paddling bare copper in the classic Hollywood . A reverence for him.

Quo Vadis I choose because possibly the film of this genre that I've seen more times. Even if today the rogue in a zapping is likely to succumb to viewing. This film does not enjoy a rave review but I love it. The main drawbacks to blame it comes from licenses that are making the film on the novel by Henryk Sienkiewicz and air as the brainy too theatrical critics. I still love to see the cockiness that was spent Robert Taylor, irony and sarcasm of the character of Petronius superbly played by Leo Genn , the delicacy and fragility of Deborah Kerr and especially the last Nero of turns up Pete Ustinov. Together, beautifully directed by Mervyn LeRoy make this movie a perfect engine with adventure, romance, action and fun.

Curtis Mayfiel Quo Vadis. Move on up

up with my friends and Grushecky Il Cavaliere concert in Big Sandy flips me the soul and its environs. That as soon as I hear a good horn section I'm up. Probably the first instrument that caught my attention was the guitar, but over time the trumpets, saxophones, trombones and other wind arsenal conquered me. In fact I've done a few CD compilations with the guiding principle is to have a good section of metal. And always, always these collections begin with a song is unbeatable also perfect to enjoy this nice weather we have. Move on up !!! Mr. Curtis Mayfield .

Hush now child,
And don't you cry
Your folks might understand you
By and by
Just move on up
Towards your destination
You may find
From time to time
Complications

Bight your lip
And take a trip
Though there may be
Wet road ahead
You cannot slip
So move on up
And peace you will find
Into the steeple
Of beautiful people
Where there's only one kind
So hush now child
And don't you cry
Your folks might understand you
By and by
Just move on up
And keep on wishing
Remember your dreams
Are your only schemes
So keep on pushing

Take nothing less
Not even second best
And do not obey
You must have your say
You can past the test
Just move on up

Steve Earle I Feel Alright

I have not lost hope that Steve Earle re-record something that blows my mind. After a holiday in the shade this man chained a series of albums unbeatable, ranging from the Train A Comin to Jerusalem for my taste his last great work. Now he returns with an album and novel based on Hank William and as always I'll come with that tingling sensation that caused me my favorite. And Steve is certainly one of them. While my dealer does its job a little reminder of how good is this guy. I feel alright !!!!!

Big Sandy His Fly-Rite Boys Kafe Antzokia

Many times the retro label is used with a derogatory jingle. Much more to that sum. And the artists mentioned have to defend themselves against the darts purists. Is life. Almost no one escapes the comparison with the past and some have ninguneo because they drink from these sources without any pretense and this is often the basis of their success because they are delivered with conviction to recreate a vintage sound. And they support with their own songs. Whenever the songs. That is fundamental. Big Sandy fits this definition. Attend a concert of this type is to enjoy an evening of rock and rolll and move to another era. Supposed to immerse yourself in a movie of the fifties and I love it. When a musician or band is capable of assuming its fixation on the past and recreate a style with grace and good arguments ground you drop. And Big Sandy meets and exceeds my expectations.

The uncle was not resisting anything: blues, country, rockabilly .... A sexy cocktail that we drank on Friday in a plain little Antzoki an entry but with staff willing to have fun. Big Sandy And His Fly-Rite Boys gave us what we wanted. Little control a record of this man: It's time that I remember which sounded Chalk It Up to the blues, and Catalina How did you love someone like me who Il Cavaliere informs me that is dedicated to Johnny Cash . But despite not being familiar with the repertoire I won the excellent voice of Big Sandy and musicians who do not need cheap or a picture fireworks spectacular to prove that they're axes with their respective instruments. An evening that ended with a smile in the company of Il Cavaliere and Grushecky, two subjects of care.
