Mike Ness. Cheating At Solitaire

years ago while working in a customer Gong Records asked me Cheating at Solitaire Mike Ness of . I told him that that record was the best I had written and recorded Mike Ness in his life, including all its apotheosis work with Social Distortion . It was a sincere and forceful statement. Let me just wanting to put it in his hand, kissing the disc and tell my son lucky to have enjoy this album. But delusions aside I still think the same. And anyone who has read something around here know that Social Distortion is not that I like but they are one of the bands of my life. But this album is already the host of words and music. The boy in question returned two weeks later and confirmed that he loved me. Not wet itself was better than his work with Social Distortion and of Me. To enjoy both.

is the first time I've written twice on the disc. The honor or disgrace is for Cheating at solitaire. An album on which I have absolute devotion. As a friend when a disc is obsessed, living in that Disk colleague. Both have always been very enthusiastic about our views and defend this tooth and nail. I carry it always in the MP4. Do not take long to listen and I'm sure my friend like that. In fact when we saw together Royal Crown Revue the first question he asked my colleague to Mando Dorame was for participating in this gem. Yes, I admit, we're like a fucking goat. The even worse than me. The Man would say: Get a life !!!!!!!

In an interview with Mike Ness read some of the songs had not Cheating at Solitaire Social Distortion embedded too because although the band California has put his hoof on roots music to a greater or lesser extent here but all were headed in that direction. At this point I think that is irrelevant and frankly if this album in his day had gone by the name of Social Distortion for me had not led to any trauma. I guess fans of the early and those in the ghetto respectable punk rock this album perhaps they chirp. I know glory. A double win. Joining the roots and punk attitude. 11 original songs, among which is impossible to choose and 4 versions very well chosen and executed.

Contributions are felt, especially tenor saxophonist Mando Dorame. Been marked differences in Misery Loves Company . Halfway through the track, you Dorame sprinkled with the saxophone and takes you to the end. In the next song Crime Do not Pay after introductory battery power appears with the saxophone. Dorame's solo on this track sounds of fireworks. Guitar and sax in perfect harmony. Like Man's friend which also marks the beginning of an underline command and also to vary there is another one that gets you. A ten for the presence of fellow of the Royal Crown Revue. Better impossible.

Following the boys in the Royal Flurry of Leppisto Veiko Crown is responsible for low throughout the disk. Another gifted instrumentalist, with that feeling needed for a disk with these characteristics. Daniel Glass is on drums on two versions of the album: You Win Again and Long Black Veil . Both left their mark. Unmistakable with the sticks. Subtlety and class to serve the boss of course know that Ness choose. Brian Setzer enthusiastically scratching one of his Gretsch Crime Do not Pay and Springsteen guitar playing and anger in Misery Loves Company rejuvenating fifteen years. also sings the verse that comes to hair: I Used To Think That I Was a king, Fancy cars, fancy clothes and diamond rings, Yeah But happiness is a funny thing And misery just loves company . Live has invited Springsteen to play Ness in more than a concert and vice versa. Great traveling companions.

But most of the collaborations, all very wise, well-chosen version and competent musicians have to showcase the talent of Mr. Ness to compose 11 superb tracks, musically rich and with lyrics to the best of the rock scene. I do not know what number of copies would ship this device, and if little, little or nothing known among the wider parish Social Distortion below but of course I carry with me forever. Cheating at Solitaire, Mike Ness tribute to American roots music, the series B and the black film. A hard to claim until the end of the day. And I count the hours for me with the last Social Distortion , Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes .
